Leroy W. Creswell, 76, of Rapid City died Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana to Horace and Harriet May (Wright) Creswell, growing up in Hammond, Indiana. Leroy married Beatrice Mae Robinson and moved to Crown Point, Indiana and helped raise two children. Leroy retired from the Teamsters Union in Chicago and he and Beatrice moved to Tucson. Several years later Leroy married Joan Egan of Tucson. He moved to Rapid City after a motorcycle accident. Leroy loved to work on cars, his passion though, was building hot rods. He is survived by his children; Diana Tober and her husband, Bill, Waterloo, NE and Ronald Creswell and his wife, Vickie, Tucson and 7 grandchildren. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Edstrom & Rooks Funeral Service, Serenity Springs Chapel of Tranquility with Pastor Jim Sorum officiating. Inurnment of his ashes will be in Mt View Cemetery.
